The 11th Annual Celebration of San Diego Pacific Islander Festival (PIFA) "Island Greetings of the Pacific", Saturday & Sunday September 24 & 25, 2005, 9:00am - 5:00pm

Everyone's favorite dream is to escape to a South Seas tropical paradise to play among the warm, friendly islanders, enjoying their customs, foods and culture. A wonderful taste of that life and adventure will happen again in San Diego to celebrate the 11th Annual Celebration of the Pacific Islander Festival. Our festival is a two-day public education and cultural fair promoting understanding and knowledge of the traditions, cultural heritage and languages of the Pacific Islands. Authentic entertainment, foods and crafts and festivities will focus on the celebration of our 11th Annual festival. Festival visitors will get a glimpse of the cultural heritage of the island peoples from Melanesia, Micronesia and Polynesia.
